As a small business that is predominantly appointment based I require a booking deposit to secure any appointment in my diary. This deposit is completely refundable or can be used as credit towards further images at your viewing. Unfortunately from time to time people do forgot or simply don’t turn up for their appointment which means that another customer has missed out on a slot they might have wanted and may have gone somewhere else. My business relys on customers attending their appointments.
The only time the booking deposit will be retained is if insufficient notice is given to change or cancel an appointment or if a customer simply doesn’t turn up. I ask all my customers to give at least 3 days notice if they need to cancel so that I can offer their appointment out to someone else.
If you cancel last minute but still want another appointment the booking deposit will be retained for the short notice cancellation and a fresh deposit will be required for your new booking.
